Before you get excited about fixing it, see if the bed is still good or not. Those beds were probably the worst ones made by any manufacturer. The cross sills that mount it to the frame will rot out. By the time you usually notice it, the floor has started to go too (on the underside) making welding in new sills hopeless. 

I like those SD Fords on paper, but between the rust problems and the 5.4 gas engines that are complete garbage I wouldn't touch one.

In my area that truck would be $3500-4500 as is and $6500 with the issues fixed.

Realistically, it's worth $5k, but you'll find a sucker who will pay $15k for it.

Put it on Ebay with a reserve of $15k and include best offer for a long auction to make sure you reach as many possible viewers.  At the end, take the highest offer.

Somewhere out there is a freak with a good body on a truck with a wasted gas engine.  Swap the cab onto the frame, fab a flatbed, they'll be in heaven.
