I am looking for photos of a car I remember seeing a while back with the engine pushed back and to the passenger side. There is a bulkhead between the driver and engine and no interior space. I have searched online by can't get the correct search terms to get what I want. Help!
I assume this isn't a drag car?
Also, is it that black Mercury Montego road racer?
Supermodified asphalt cars?

There was that 4wd hayabusa powered kart/car that ran Pikes Peak, didn’t the owner do something he called Project Dragon later? Pretty sure the motor was mounted to the side of the driver on that. I thought Sector 111 had some link to that work but they recently appear to have folded.
I'm thinking of everything from the turbine Indy car to the Palatov DP4.
More details about type of racing and any other characteristics you can recall would help...

Mallocks are arranged that way.

This is the closest to what I am thinking. I will look more into these. But whatever it was, it definitely was meant to turn both ways.
Not a drag car, I think this was maybe something like a Trans-Am car or similar

There is an autocrossing Camaro with the engine placed in the passenger's seat.

It's not an uncommon layout for Emod cars. Loosecannon's Emod "MGB" has the same layout.

The Mallock jumped to mind.
Of course there is our own GRM evilgenius (loosecannon) who has built an "MGB?" with the specified configuration
Bingo! That Camaro and Loosecannon's build is exactly what I was thinking of. Thanks
This is the exact picture I was looking for.
What? A turbo in the passenger seat wasn't enough? Now you want a whole engine there?

So uh... What is that thing?
EDIT:
Never mind. It's this car, isn't it?

Thought it looked familiar.
We had a recent thread about the Allison Legacy chassis. The engine is pushed pretty far back. Sort of half-way into the cabin. Fully behind the front axles.
