I'm replacing some a/c hard lines and I'm having trouble getting them to seal. What is the preferred sealant for the o-rings?

Is this what I want?

AC Oil.  PAG in many cases.

I recently had an issue with the o-rings in the kits being the wrong size. After getting a different kit with the same issue of incorrect size, I ordered this O-ring kit for $17.

edit: my issue was sealing a line to the condenser with a block style coupling like the coupler you're fixing on the Honda.
