I have a Xytronic 137ESD that I bought a few years ago to make Dr.Linda's megasquirt type ECU for her bike. It could do the mini components I used for that:
Before that, I used a $5 Radio Shack soldering iron for everything, including 2 other megasquirts, TV repair, car harnesses, everything. I would bring it to sea with me and use it there too when I was responsible for fixing every electronics item on a supertanker. It was just too big for the mini-megasquirt for the bike. So I bought the Xytronic on suggestion of the megasquirt forums. It is fantastic. I don't know if they still sell that model, but it is similar to this one:
