To be honest, it doesn't matter what class I end up in. It's one event, as a one-off lark, and my objective is to drive my sports car on a closed course, hang out with like-minded car guys and girls, and try not to get lost in the cones. We use a fairly small area (infield and partial oval of Kil-Kare in Xenia OH) so I've seen the courses and they loop around at least twice, maybe three times.
I'm going to find the least populated class I can fit into and try that one.
you could always go to A-Mod ...

one other possibility ... in both of the regions where I run, we have a class called STO (seat time only) ... good for what you're trying to do .. just remembered it ... my bad
in the class, you're not running for any prizes, you're times are recorded, but not listed in any class (other than STO) so you don't "mess up" anyones chances, you don't "spoil" any class ... everyone's happy

Wish we had that as an option, it's perfect. I didn't see anyone in CSP so that's what I entered on the registration. If they have STO as an option on-site I'll do that.

We have that in my region as well, only they call it "NC" or "Non-Competition". You get your times, but you won't be ranked in the PAX standings (if you care, probably not). I'd be surprised if your region doesn't have something like that.
