Can I say that the commander looks like it was made to be lifted like the one shown?
I felt they looked a little dumpy stock but lifted like that is so much better.

2004 RAV4 V6. Plenty of punch from the big motor, Toyota reliability, AWD, and there is enough of an aftermarket to allow for lift kits if you want medium off roading capability.

I did some reading and it sounds like with 4wd engaged on a 2002 4Runner, it's basically full time AWD. If you click the center diff lock button, its then more like 4wd. I'd love to hear if you found something that says differently.
Of note, that RAV4 is a great option, but it's slip and grip AWD from what I remember. Not full time.
To follow up on this thread this should be delivered next week from the salvage auction. 5.3 V8, 4:1 low range and a rear locker.
Awesome, congrats! I put my money where my mouth is on this thread too and brought this home after my last post:
5.7 Hemi, QDII. This was a good thread.

Nice! Looks great. I also had a couple of those on my watchlist as well. Any modifications planned?

Nice! I'm a little jealous about the Alpha. The only think I don't particularly like about my truck is the engine.
