I think I bought a 97-98 Lincoln Mark8 4.6 4v and matching 4r70w trans without knowing the asking price.
My problem is that I don't have a vehicle to put this into, yet(?).
Oi vey.

SN95 mustang. It's a big motor to go in to many other ford products. Or maybe an explorer. They did something similiar with the lincoln aviator.
If I still had my SN95 rag I'd probably be in touch with you. Though apparently it's basically impossible to install a 4v into an SN without dropping the subframe, so even then I probably wouldn't be that commited.
I'm fairly certain a 4v just literally wouldn't fit in a Miata. It barely fits in a Mustang.

Or just build a tube frame.

Along those lines, this thing would require a damn big BFH

Wives tale.
I pulled a 2v with long tube headers and t45 trans attached out of a buddies car years ago. You want to talk pain in the ass???
Picture proof: (lol)
An $800 Maverick!
A station wagon from the 70's or 80's. With woodgrain paneling, torque thrust wheels, and flowmasters.
7 series Volvo. Wagon if you can find one. This one fits under the stock hood.
The entire MK VIII drivetrain from rad to transmission fits in quite nicely.
The rad was moved up later for a more factory looking effect .
Stick it under the work bench at your office. That's what I did with a accidental $300 T56 purchase.
One day I'll need it. I hope.
Hook that whole thing directly to an 8.8" IRS, find any one of the cool shells on Enablers Unanimous, and stuff it in the middle. Mid-engined glory.
I'd slap it in here. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/cars-sale/lowered-90-f150/174428/page1/
Call it the "f-uscle truck"

It's not basically impossible. It's berkeleying impossible. Those things are huge.

They are actually physically larger than the 1960's Ford 427 SOHC "Cammer" engines.
