The auto to manual swaps i've done on old cars basically just involved defeating the neutral safety switch and hooking up reverse lights. I mean, you can hook up a clutch switch if you're going to use it for something like 2-step, antilag etc but I'm morally against having to push the clutch to crank the engine so i usually just totally defeated that functionality. You get the odd orphan DTC like "the converter clutch circuit doesn't seem to exist" but.. ahem.. who cares lol.
