GRM knows all, I have also posted theis on Jeepforum fut they are a little standoffish to newbs over there (and that's OK)

Anyway.

1993 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 H.O, Passenger side in the front under the hood, near the battery.

I had heard that Jeeps were pre-wired to Flat tow, but I just heard that, don't know if it is true. Could there be the wires? if not, does anyone know what they are for?

Pics are linked to MY photobucket, so sorry, no hot linking here...

Horn wires, looks like. Look behind the front bumper on that side.

high and low horns are likely each on opposite corners, at least they are on my 95, so i dont think thats horn wiring. not sure what they are though.

lol ok yes there IS NO HORN present. no wonder it didn't work.

I bought a replacement horn at autozone. Well not matter how I put the wires on, it still has no sound. Looks like I will be replacing the horn relay. Unfortunately it is combined with the rear wiper relay and is $32 :(

Well I got company coming tonight so I wont make another trip to autozone tinight.

Glad i could be of service

Do you own a multimeter or a test light? The $2 ones from Harbor Freight would be perfectly good for diagnosing this.. And cheaper than throwing $32 at a relay without testing.

Well of the three pieces to make a horn work, Relay, fuse and actual horn, My jeep had exactly zero functioning parts.

got a horn, got a Relay (for $12 at Advance auto) and it didn't work. I went to check the fuse (spot 11 if anyone is interested) and there was no fuse. Added a 25 and horn all honky now.

thanks!

Honk if you're....nevermind. It's always good when you solve an electrical mystery!
