What would you do with a twelve-cylinder Mercedes-Benz engine

I was idly browsing around car-part.com, when I discovered that the big Mercedes V12 engines are remarkably inexpensive. You can get one for around two grand.

It's big, heavy, and smooth. What do you think would make a good home for it? I don't know if one would fit in a 190E without ruining the balance.

Something else big, heavy, and smooth. I'm picturing old school Mercedes...

I have seen pics of one in a w124, very tight fit. I think a w126 coupe would be nice with that engine though.

Put it in a BMW motorcycle.

Would be neat to see in a small truck like an S-10 or a ranger.

Put it in a late 60's Chrysler Imperial.

I think you could successfully annoy almost everybody by putting it into an old Lexus LS.

Or maybe a P71 or a GM B-body? A 95 Cadillac Brougham with a V12 would definitely make a statement, about something.

I like the Ford Model A idea.

GM put a BMW V12 in a caprice back when the 750IL first came out.

A replica, something along these lines:

Caprice Wagon or a 1990-ish full size truck.

It was in hot rod magazine in an article about GM concept cars. They took a box style caprice, went and bought a brand new 750IL and swapped the engine into the caprice. They did it to see if they wanted to develop a V12 for the luxury market becasue it could make power while still being quiet and smooth. Thats all I know.
