Or
95 Black on Black Jaguar XJ6 - $2895 (Hudson Ma)

Both so you can continually rotate between the two while the other one is being fixed?
I am actually leaning towards the XJ6 as the XJ8's are known to have trans issues. But there is just something about XJ8's.
I would lean towards the XJ6 between those two unless the XJ8 has full maintenance history.
Both so you can drive one while the other one is getting a LSX swap
I'd take my chances on the XJ6 first, for sure.
If you need a car, get the XJ8.
If you need a Jaguar, get the XJ6.

Further explanation required. I thought that the 8 would be more problematic and in the end cost way more than the 6. Or is what I have heard / read been myth and legend.
Ohya to clarify I don't "need" either of these. I just really like jags and stumbled on these while surfing last night.
I was looking at both of theses cars a year or so ago. Either one could have possible trans issues. I would go with a 6 over an 8 just for the fact that the 6 was a rather well refined engine by the time the V8 came out.
Besides the possible trans issues, I know the MAF likes to go out on both of these and they are expensive.
One is a basically a Lincoln V8, the other is a Jag I6.
Which do you trust?
(I would lean toward the V8, since it's newer, and is basically the same powertrain as the LS/T-Bird vert V8, just 0.1l larger. And I know the electronics are quite a bit more modern)
One more thing- if you get the V8, you can spend another $13 on stuff, and bring to the Challenge....
