That's just a badly merged panoramic photo. Normal plane, although a seemingly strange place to park it.

Well.. my statement stands. You can see the vertical line where the images are merged poorly.

The half-track beetle looks fun.

I don't think the issue is with the picture itself but the owner's eclectic choice of conveyance.

Ohhhhhhh ok. I've seen so much wacky stuff in my life that this didn't move the needle for me at all.

Old article, but seems like they're still doing most of what's described in the article. I drive past every few months and the scenery is always changing.

Thanks to Google street view, I once spotted a rare, factory-spec 6-wheeled Ford Mustang. wink

Agreed.  Hell, I'd love to kick around and see what else is on that property.

I recognized that place at once! The shop who fixed my BMW is nearby there

That's a Beech 18.    Same plane that was used for the famous fly through the billboard stunt in the 1963 film It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World.  Apparently the guy that built the billboard did not use the speced super light wood and the fly through resulted in a lot of damage to the plane.  Many Beech 18's where retired after a required spar fix needed on many planes (potentially why this seeminly nice looking plane is sitting there).

That was the first movie I ever saw in a movie theater.  Despite being mostly reliant on physical comedy, it still stands up as funny today.

I always said that if I lived someplace where palm trees would grow, I'd plant myself a Big W.

We had a tree come down in a storm last week and now I have a Big U.
