I vote for the Chevrolet Forester. Anything more obscure or weirder out there?
I thought the VW Routan was out there. A Chrysler product with VW badging. Has that been done before?
For obscure in the US, I give you the Sterling 825
Less of a rebadge and more of a joint effort, the Sterling was a British Rover effort with the drivetrain of an Acura Legend but all the poor build quality and bad electronics of a British car.
Here is a sample of each currently for sale in metro Cleveland, OH
In the US, there is a good chance that you have never seen a Suzuki Equator and even if you did see it, you may not have noticed the difference.

I was going to ask when and where this was, but I assume from the image URL that it was in India. Why on earth wouldn't they just sell that as a Subaru?
These two threw Consumer Retards for a bit of a loop.
I've always wondered exactly what Toyota saw in the Cavalier that made them say, "Why can't we make anything that nice?"
Mazda Roadpacer: a Holden Premier with a rotary
Honda Crossroads...all of that "Honda" reliability from Land Rover:

And now i want one. Seriously nice interior, and that sunroof is ridiculous.

Hey I just saw this car recently!
Maruti Gypsy = Suzuki Samurai
Autozam AZ3 = Mazda MX3 (an obscure rebrand of a JDM-only car, what do I win?)

Okay, what market is that from? I NEED ONE OF THOSE GRILLES.
We have an '01 Forester as a shop loaner car. It needs to have Chevy badging to match the other loaner vehicles.
I think the reason for the Toyota Cavalier was some US-Japan trade negotiation thing where we whined and said they had to allow US made cars in their market. Because the reason they didn't sell there was because they weren't allowed, not because they were POSes even in our market, let alone one with different constraints/demands.
