It puts a smile on my face when I see some small city cars that have a ton of mileage. Thinking if I could stand to take this Fiat on long trips. I got worried about safety, but it's got like 7 airbags and is way safer than most 80s-90s cars anyways..
My one neighbor has a 90s Civic with over 350k. It's got a droopy exhaust and is pretty beat up. A younger lady drives it in nice office clothes, it's a fun look. Then other neighbor has a 80s Civic that's beat but still going with a ton of miles.
I have 205,000 on a Miata.
I got it new.
Guy here has a Scion IQ with a solid 120K miles, I had one they are comfortable
I drove VW Sciroccos almost exclusively for many years. Currently I tote my wife and three kids (1, 4, and 7 with car seats) around in a 2012 Sonic. The whole family and I went on a 1200+ mile road trip in it this summer.
209K on my 2011 Elantra so far

I put 80k miles on a 2001 Hyundai Accent in just under 2 years driving back and forth from Maryland to Michigan while in college.
For that matter, my WR250R has 44,000 miles on it, 42.5k of which was put on between January 2010 and September 2012. The first WRR I bought in May 2009 and was stolen on New Years 2010 with 17k on it.

If bikes count I've done 50k plus on multiple bikes. usually after that many miles I'm tired of them and they get replaced.
I've changed cars too many times and previously had much shorter drives for work and leisure. I did rack up a good amount of miles in similar cars in my 16 years of driving. Various 90s civics and 80s accords. Currently doing about 20k miles per year in a 2013 Honda Fit.
My first vehicle was an 86 toyota pickup with 310k on it when the odo broke. I drove it a year after that, my dad drove it 2 more years before selling it to a kid who drove it to colorado. Not bad for a 50 dollar truck. I beat on it alot.
91 Miata. 341k at the moment.
Three of us drove fairly comfortably from Michigan to Alaska to California and back to Michigan in a first gen Neon. My sister bought the car new and I think it had 170k when I passed it off. It was comfortable enough.
1981 Mazda GLC Sport, bought new and sold at 160,000 miles. Sold it to a friend who used it as a DD for another 3 or 4 years and never did an oil change, just topped it up occasionally.
One of these. At least it seemed like it at the time.

We load all 4 of us, our ski gear and hit the highway in my 03 Golf.
The Explorer stays at home due to fuel mileage.
I helped my dad put 200k kms on his Echo before he sold it.

It wasn't all me driving by any means, but we did buy the car new. We put about 295,000 miles on one of these. It looked like the hood looks all over.
I put 42k miles in one year on a brand new 09 Toyota Yaris.
Drove an 07 Fit from 47k to about 115k miles.
Drove a 92 Civic hatch from 172k-215k miles and sold it to a teenager with it smoking, blown radiator, head gasket for what I paid for it originally.
In reply to aussiesmg:
209,000 miles on 5 year old car? That's 41,800 per year, or an average of 157 miles per day.
How do you do that?
Does it count if it is the same chassis type?
I put 53k on my first 1st-gen RX-7.
I put well over 82k on my second 1st-gen RX-7.
I have well over 100k on the current 1st-gen RX-7...
edit: Have spent up to 16 hours a day in the driver's seat. More than 8 hours is somewhat problematic brain-wise. I've never worried about breaking down away from home, ever.
30k a year in rabbits for many years.
When I got rid of that I did 15k in 8 months in this.
Now I've done 128k in this 2012 mZ5
Working in reverse order:
~100k on an '07 Accent
~100k on an '09 Fit
~80k on a '97 Miata
~110k on an '04 Protege
~40k on a '93 Corrado
~70k on a '00 Aspire
~110k on a '94 Escort GT
That's all I can remember at the moment.
don't forget the real, and undisputed mileage champ... Irv, and his 66 Volvo 1800S... over 3 million miles...
my 1964 model had a mere 384,000 on it when it got rear ended (1977)
While it just turned 60k today, I'm doing 100mi/day 5 days per week in a Mazda2. On 550/450 springs nonetheless. It had 50k on it when I moved and began this commute. 3 months ago.
