Tell me whats wrong with the 4th picture...
It's awl 'lectric...
*EDIT...Duh...it's like the "Tornado" that creates a vortex turbulence swirl like effect right into the carb....don't know why I didn't see that before.
He probably has the exhaust flowing backwards through the turbine as well - then it would actually spin the compressor in the "right" direction relative to the way he have the plumbing. It'll just be terribly, terribly ineffective.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's set up, er, "right" for what its... whatever it is. Most "turbos" I've seen go somewhere within a foot or two of an exhaust manifold. Ah, looking again, I see- it's a supercharger driven by the distributor! Now it makes sense.

It's overexposed....

Well played...
My first thought is that it's probably belt driven, but it still seems odd to set it up this way, unless by converting to belt driven actually ends up spinning the compressor wheel backwards. I'm just too tired to think it through right now.
It still wont work if you spin it backwards, it's a centrifugal compressor.
He's just another moron.
"What's wrong with this ad?"
As is typical of CL ads, there's a near total lack of punctuation making it one LOOOONG sentence. Spelling is a disaster and it's hard to tell what he's saying from what's in the ad. Example: "....runs alot" ? Runs a lot of ...what?
Wow, you would think if someone fabbed that up they would do a little research the correct plumbing for a turbocharger/centrifugal supercharger.
