Okay, since we're talking birds this week (mainly turkeys), what's your favorite car named after a bird?
Thunderbird?
Firebird?
Falcon?

I can get down with a Swallow Doretti
Or a Humber Hawk
A Riley Kestrel is appropriate
But I think I'd rock a Reliant Robin first
Just learned that a "Snipe" is in fact a bird so
Humber Super Snipe estate, please
What about the only car both named after a bird AND a part of a bird: The Eagle Talon?
Side Note: there used to be a kid around town that we knew as Chicken Wing (long story, and also avian-related!) that called these the "Eagle Tay-len" because he pronounced the word Talon as "Tay-len" for some unknown reason.
He kept challenging a friend with a Plymouth Laser RS AWD to race him in his Volvo 850 wagon. One day, he went into his place of employment demanding to know who drove the "Tay-len" so they could "throw down". My friend politely declined, but that pronunciation has stuck forever with my group of friends.
Buick Skylark, like this one for auction at Mecum: 1972 Buick Skylark Sport for Sale at Auction - Mecum Auctions
In reply to J.A. Ackley :
Oh yes, the Skylark! I had one - a 1964 flavor - that looked a lot like this:
Mine had the Fireball V6 and steelies with hubcaps that were very eager to fly off in every turn. That was my 1st car, and I'd love to have another one.
Is there something more awesome than the Blackhawk? An exclusive trim level on the Tercel so rare and desirable, that collectors often dual to the death to own one.

Seems to me that in much the same way that the Avanti II lived on as a limited-production offering, the Hawk could be brought back as the Hawk II. Ah?

Yeah. Definitely the Eagle Talon. I also very much like the 2005-era Thunderbirds, but the Tay-len (how I'm going to pronounce it forever now) would be my favorite bird-themed car, and definitely one of the best cars that came out of the 1990s.

That's the AW11 MR2's "cyberchicken" emblem. The car's not named after a bird though

The MR2 Bird, as we call it. A fave here at the office.
