VW put some messy OE pads on the front of our Golf.  We've not quite got 8K miles on the thing yet, and the pretty 17" Geneva wheels are looking pretty grungy.

Amazon says that Sonax is their "#1 Best Seller" in automotive wheel care, over 1200 reviews 4.5 stars.  Sounds like a great choice, but I'm open to other suggestions.

I just bought a bottle of Sonax. It's pretty good stuff, though it's not cheap. Once thoroughly clean, a coating of wax on the wheels makes it relatively easy to simply wipe down the wheels when you wash the car.

Samesies.  I have a bottle of Sonax, but I only break it out for really bad dust that the cheaper wheel cleaners can't remove.  Stuff's pricey.

My favorite brake dust remover on the FR-S is another coat of Plasti-Dip.

Sonax gets most of the dust off the Abarth's white wheels.  Another trick I picked up here is to use a long bristle paint brush and paint the stuff after it's had time to react.  Takes off the rest.  (I've tried a few brands, have not found ANYTHING that takes EVERYTHING off without some effort.)
