I've got some Cobra 17" wheels in Thunderbird bolt pattern left from my challenge project.
Any suggestions as to art made out of them? (2 good ones, 2 bent ones).
clock? stool?

Oh damn.
I did not even think of that direction.
The wheel pattern is weird though. 5x4.25. (108 mm).
Jack stands?
But actually, you could make a sweet set of hub stands with some cast-off steel wheels.
I used a single bent wheel to make an air hose hanger AND a shop stool. Cut part of the barrel off to hang the on the wall and used the other (along with a scrapped office chair base) to make a rolling shop stool.
How bent are they? There are a number of companies who can straighten them, and then you'd have a full set you could sell.
Just think what you could do with something like this... ugh. Yes, these are real, actual, aluminum wheels.
Bah,
Hit close instead of new tab looking for pictures.
2 are probably not salvagable.

When I was in college in the early 2000s, the sorority house next door had a parking lot. And in the parking lot was a 1st gen VW Cabrio with those wheels. No joke.

Yeah, that's pretty well trashed. She'll probably pass on them. Thanks for the pictures though.
