My blingy wheels aren't fitting my mustang II spindles - Hub is 2 1/2" in diameter. I've got some interference by about 2-3mm from fitting flush with the hub with the center bore of the wheel. Think I could open up the center bore a titch with a cylinder hone - or would I be better off with a 1/8 or 1/4" wheel spacer??? Other options? Need a quick/easy fix.
Are you sure it's the hole keeping you out? Is the caliper in the way? Something else in the way?

hole saw works. Die grinder also works, but make sure you go oversize since it likely won't be on center. A spacer should also work. I usually take some fender washers and put them around the studs as spacers. Start with one on each stud and keep adding them until the wheel fits, then you know how thick a spacer you need. I wouldn't recomend driving with washers used as spacers, but I have been using them on my trailer as spacers for the last 3 years.
