Alright, before I throw my hands in the air and jump on the Rota Slip bandwagon for my Neon, I wanted to run this by the brain trust.
I'm looking for light 15" wheels with a 5x100 bolt pattern and about a 35mm offset. By light I mean in the sub 15 pound category, I don't need to run 9 pound wheels. I'm also trying to keep it under $200 per wheel.
Does anyone have any ideas that aren't covered on Tire Rack or 1010 Tires? I k now 949 Racing is going to be putting out a new wheel in the fall that might fit the car, and I may just wait, but I'd like to have as much information as I can before I make my final decision.
Heck, if anybody has any used wheels just taking up valuable garage space and serving as a breeding ground for brown recluse spiders, I might be able to help you out, too. I don't care if they are pretty or have road rash, either.
Thanks,
Brett
RPF1s? Knockoffs of those?
XXR makes a few that should fit the bill as well.
What about K1s nice looking wheel and light , not sure on the cost though.
Well tire rack has no listing for K1s thats odd?

I found Rota RBs in the right size online, but a call to Rota via my local Discount Tire has led me to think that Rota no longer makes these wheels.
I found them online at a place called "RacingLab" but I know nothing about them and they want over $100 to ship.

The xxr 002s are an easy recommendation. not the ones in the pic, though.
Anyway, you could also search for used Flik wheels. they had a few different things that fit your bill, several years ago.
Sorry, but all I have are 14". I currently have 1 neon steel, 5 older steel, 4 R/T alloys, 4 AR estrellas.
I would look at junk yards for these 15" ones off of second gens.

Not a chance. If I wanted to lobotomize myself and join the stance crowd, I've got a Volkswagen!
Dunno if they still exist, but I got my Slipstreams from 18 racing for not much more than a C-note each.
I'm looking at either the Slipstreams or Drag DR-17s at this point.

Thats why i said not the ones in the pic.. Those are the 15x8 0offset ones iirc. If you get the 15x7 +35 or whatever it is it'll actually look good and be functional. The rim style itself is attractive, and its light and cheap, and it comes in different colors, and its dual bolt pattern. It's really a great wheel.
Vigo,
They're on the list. I'm not a fan of faux rivets, but light and cheap means it doesn't have to be pretty. They're not going to be for daily use.
