The Vision 353 might fit your needs.

Available in 16x8, 5 on 5.5", and under $150ea.  Still not so sure on the backspacing, but since you are going up and not down with the van, you can probably make it work.

That's not bad at all.

I like these

I actually saw those and love them.  My only holdup is that if I keep the 16", those black lips will make them look like 15s with huge donuts.

They kind of remind me of Jeep Wagoneer wheels with fewer spokes.  I like them.

I usually start my search for rims by seeing if Soft 8s will work and go from there since it's pretty much the only wheel that looks good in every size I've seen.

Cheap too, but not exactly light. They look great with stock Chevy center caps too

In reply to Antihero (Forum Supporter) :

I normally get behind that.  My Branger has black wheels, but I don't think I want to go black on this one.  The van itself is so yawn-inducing that I want some bling.  Not 24" chrome spinners bling, but a nice addition that looks like I'm going for A) looks killer, B) looks halfway between rugged HD and sexy on the street, but C) doesn't try to look like beadlocks, nor tries to look like I'm selling illegal pharmaceuticals.

Not that Soft 8's look like any of the above, I'm just in uncharted territory here.  All of my vans have either been work/cargo/steelies, or conversion vans with an 80s feel.  I'm having trouble nailing down the dichotomy of how to make an offroader look good on the street... and make a street van not look like a poser off-road.

I don't care about light.  It's a 5400-lb box of steel with balloon tires.  Saving 4 lbs on a wheel doesn't matter when the tires weigh more than the battery.

I've just been down this road a bunch with these specific wheels, this bolt pattern, and this offset (the one on the van)

Just not necessarily at the same time.  cheeky

I was trying to find something that was close to the old school turbines with the correct diameter (difficult enough) but also the correct lug pattern (raises the difficulty level quite a bit).   The FSJ wheel always seemed to me a modern (for the time) OEM interpretation of the custom turbines of the 70s.

I REALLY like the Salt Flats.  In fact, I bought a set for my '78 Dodge D100 pickup at no small expense.

But, unless they have a different version of the wheel that I haven't seen, it isn't available as a 6 lug.

Dakar

The color on the Dakar really works.   I was going to suggest getting the cheaper black version of the 353s, then stripping and repainting in Bronze/Gold.

I am feeling nostalgia for the gaudy '70s gold wheel aesthetic, but none of my vehicles quite fit the bill for this look-

Since my wheels are +30mm, I should also look to other OEMs like Acura, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mitsu, etc

More common pattern than I expected
