If I buy the best one I can afford, I wont be able to buy the 5 other decent cars I have on my radar.

I didnt get this hoard of vehicles by buying the BEST single one I could afford, but by finding the best DEAL I could and then improving their condition myself incrementally. Wish I had enough money to pay premium prices for nice cars instead of deal prices for middle grade but it's what drives my hobby.

I quite often buy on the lower end of the market.

I fix things that others don't want to fix. I hate spending a lot on a DD that I'm just going to pile mileage on.

My last 3 DD's were - $750 CAD, $2000 CAD and $1900 CAD. I drove the 1st one 3 years, the 2nd 6 years and the 3rd is still on its 1st year.
