Finally got the engine running yesterday evening, hooked up the water, pull the trigger... Nothing.

The pump leaks like it has a crack in the housing.

What's a good replacement? I know I can fix it but when you finally get parts shipped in, tore apart, and fixed, you can already have the job done with a new unit.

Just the pump part or the whole shebang?

My pressure washer broke the connecting rod this year. Apparently rebuild parts run nearly $200 for a Briggs 6.5 hp engine. I won't be spending that.

Pump seems good if you want it.

My Troy Bilt PW pump broke also. Housing cracked. I found a replacement locally for $100. Haven't gotten around to getting it yet. I found them online for $78. http://www.pressureparts.com/replacement-pumps/pumps/arpumps/arpumps-axail

I got one on Amazon for the same price: Linky

Note that there's a few versions of this, related to pressure and whether they're front or rear hose connection. That's pretty much all there is to know about the pump. It's possible to rebuild them as well, but that's only if you have low pressure I believe?

It took me <10 minutes to swap.
