it's how it always is.. starts of nice. Wide rims, low profile tyres.. lowered with a slight rake

then goes to wide rims, small diameter, low profile and narrow tyres.. slightly tucked with a lot of rake

And now we get this... trends always go to an extreme before they get dumped.. look how many "fast and furious" cars you see anymore with 4 foot wings, bad body kits, and enough neon to light up an art deco diner...

Well that explains it.

This XTREME negative camber reminds me of Poe's Law: It's so extreme, it's hard to tell whether it's parody or if these guys are actually that full of FAIL.

It started as a Japan thing, as do most trends that are something simple taken far beyond the point of absurdity. It has since become a Vee Dub Krew specialty, and was also taken up by wealthy Middle Easterners in a slightly different format.

[edit] Oh, and the Civic's trunk is actually an interpretation of Burberry Check, which is the personal accessory of choice for chavs.

How long will a set of tires last with 15-25deg camber? 2500 miles before the inch or so of tread that touches the road is corded would be my guess.
