When to just chuck old parts?

Click below and lament a paychecks gone by....a wake of years busted crap from racing and HPDE.

Guesses on the new retail value of these parts?

I came up with $30k, after loading it up at my buddy's house. We agreed to spend a Saturday morning purging...take it to the recycler, and then have big a party with the proceeds. $92 later, lunch at Hooters instead.

I never throw anything away until it's either in the way or totally used up. And since I'm wanting to build a foundry, I've taken to keeping the AL housing off bad alternators and starters recently.
