I am thinking of a radical build taking a front wheel drive car and converting to rear or awd. Which would generate the need to lengthen and widen the body and chassis. With all the work would it still be a saab ?

i know a guy who has an 88 dodge daytona. its rear wheel drive with a small block chevy now. we still call it a daytona

When it has a full tube-frame chassis and generic-shaped fiberglass body that relies on decals to clue you in to the original model.
