When/what was your first post here?

I started on the old board fresh out of high school in like 2003. Who knows what it was about, probably something 1G CRX related. I've been in and out over the years but knocking on 40 years old I'm still rocking hot hatches.

Somewhere on the old board circa 2002 probably. I was at Year One and my coworker Steve Hockenberry told me about the magazine. The forums looked fun so I signed up. My first post was probably about my Lincoln Mark VII.

2014 to buy a Mercedes being sold by Bgkast. I won't bother trying to find it, search sucks.

and for the record we still have the Sierra and it's still awesome. Just rusty.

LOL of course I signed up and my first post was to buy a old cheap Mercedes sight unseen and fly and drive. The drive part went horribly but I did enjoy owning that car.

Sometime in 2016, looking for a way to mount rally lights on my NA because Miata.net didn't like me not conforming to their two chosen build types, being ultra stock or the full FM catalog. 

First was in 2008 and then 3210 post since.

March 2008, and 497 posts later.... still "Reader"    Maybe should be considered a "Lurker"

I am thinking I posted on the old board.  Was there a woman documenting a Ferrari build perhaps? If so my posts do not appear here. 

I joined around '03 or so, maybe earlier, I think but, my first post on the new board was in this thread. 

Ugh... the punctuation and grammar. It's embarrassing. I probably still make tons of similar mistakes but, I can't spot them... yet. LOL


Looking at SVreX's first post about people changing their screen names or images, I am inclined to agree, even though I am one of the Jackasses that changed their screen name. I was EggRoll on the old forum, IIRC.



Not long ago I went back and re-read some of my old posts and comments. I was pretty energetic, imaginative, and funny, if I say so myself. LOL



I read this gem the other day and had a decent giggle. I also had a short story I'd written about a species from Eta Aquilae that has butts where their faces should be and their daily struggles to integrate into office life in 21st century America. It was called "The evil Buttfaces from Eta Aquilae.". Sadly, both the written and remembered versions have disappeared.
