We have people who have seriously passed 50K if it was possible to include posts from earlier iterations. 

05-06-07. I was in high school, I'd discovered autocross and a friend gave my Dad the Downing-Atlanta supercharged 318is issue. 

Somewhere after that we were looking for a new car after Dad got in a wreck in my Maxima, and we ended up in a SAAB. I think the what car thread for that may have been my first post, but I'm really not sure. I know I used to read the forum during first period study hall in my junior year, possibly my sophomore year. 

Don't know what my first post was about (probably questions about a car problem if I had to guess), but the earliest notifications from the board I can find in my email are from October 2007. My earliest that are still online are probably talking about the new forum we were testing out.

Hard to say.   I know I spent a lot of time trolling the classifieds here at first, though I had a magazine subscription before that.

I was running a sign shop and had been doing graphics on some race cars, one of my customers sent me pics of his E30 M3 on the cover so I ran out and grabbed it and joined up that day. Not sure what my first posts were but the oldest I can find are from much later around 2007 or 08 when I decided to sell the Datsun 1200 GTL

I don't remember but I know it was quite a while ago. 

I remember seeing the magazine in the "sundry shop" in Tulsa and thought, "Hey this looks cool" and I've been a subscriber ever since. 

My first post was about 2 years ago about my first autocross :)

My first on this board was in a test thread.  I don't recall what my first on the old board was

Because there were. I have been here since at least 1999, with the $1500 Challenge, but I think it was before just a little.  There used to be a wayback page for the previous version, no idea of the one prior to that. 
 

There was a really early board, then one circa 2002, and this one in 2008. 
 

I have been alfadriver since my first post ~25 years ago. Not sure how I found the website, but suspect it was from the magazine. 

My first post was in '97 or '98.  That was like five boards ago. They changed the host or software a couple times in the first few years. I tend to lurk a lot and post in bunches.  Marriage and stepdaughters cut into one's posting time but I'll make the tradeoff.

Starting to feel old, thanks to all the fetuses posting on here that they joined in 200x when they were in high school.
