You need to search constantly. I have a CL app that helps, but I've found timing is everything.
I just picked up a 200k+ high mile & rattling 1.6L motor British Racing Green NA w/hardtop and hardly any rust for $1,000.
I had a trailer, cash & could do the deal right away.

Florida is definitely the land of cheap miatas. And considering you can get to fort Lauderdale or Orlando for like $60 sometimes, it’s probably one of the cheaper fly and drive options.
