Besides Amazon, who are currently charging $179 for it.
Excellent - I bought mine a few years ago and will treasure it. It is one of the better locost books, if not second to the original.
Keith, I just ordered it.
As an aside, the Amazon prices make much more sense now that I know it's out of print.

Make that 3. edit: now 2
Local library. Even if they don't have it, World Cat and inter-library loan are just a Reference Desk away. How else do you think I read it?
Keith,
If your publisher isn't willing to print another edition, you should consider doing it as one of those new-fangled e-book things. They might be more willing to do that since they don't have materials costs to deal with.
(I already have my paper copy. )
I have Keith's Locost book and I'm looking to trade for Keith's Miata Performance Projects book, or one of the other two of Keith's Miata books.
e-book is in discussion - my newest Miata book has been released as one. There are still costs involved in converting it, of course. I'm not sure how slammed the layout team is.
I second the idea of the e-book, maybe through Amazon or iTunes.
(Frankly, car books are the only ones I don't read on a screen, and that's just because you can't get a shop manual on Kindle yet.)
Unfortunately, it's not really my call. But I'll keep on top of them.
FM is now out of paper copies. Actually, I had to dig into my personal stash in order to catch up to all the web orders that came in after they sold out by phone...
I'm glad I bought my copy when it came out. Had no idea I was sitting on a collector's item. Good book Keith.
Thanks for the dip into the stash Keith, I think my child of indeterminate sex and I shall be reading this together. I was never a fan of Pokey Little Puppy anyhow.

I am hoping that said kid hasn't yet been born.
The last printing sold too slowly to make a reprint cost-effective. I think the book went back for two or three printings, I'm not sure. It's simply one of those supply and demand questions. Basically, none of you lot were buying them until they were almost all gone
I'll do what I can to get it back on the market, but sales really did drop off over the last couple of years.
Was it worth it?
Did you get enough commission off of the book to make it worth the PITA of writing a fairly niche book?
You'll need to log in to post.
