So I'm trying to move on from the vette and I'm trying to get this thing sold. I have it on CL, all the local forums, the corvette forums. Where else do Iist? It's over the $20xx amount so I can't list it here. Just trying to get the most coverage so I can let it find a new home.
Suggestions?
Hemmings and Ebay come to mind.
eBay costs $$. It's why I quit using it. Their fees had gotten ridiculous.
I have been wanting somewhere to browse for other peoples projects that are over 2K. Is that something that will be shunned by the GRM gods?

Bob, what kind of gas mileage do you get with it, and what do you want for it?

We used to have that, but then they combined the classifieds with RacingJunk.com. I don't like it either, but I they have their reasons. I'm guessing it may take too much man-power to maintain it? iduno.

Say you want $6k for it. You could list the body, drivetrain and chassis in three parts for $2k each with the provision that the buyer must by all three.
Your suggestion is spot on the money, but the is Mileage unknown. I only put ~1000 miles on it since the rebuild and only hte last 300 or so with it running correctly after the issue and I can say that my driving habits with it have not been conducive to good fuel economy. lol
Magazine ads are free for subscribers. I'm talking about GRM magazine, of course. :)

I still use ebay from time to time and just bump up my reserve to cover the fees. The thing with ebay is you have such a huge audience....great for selling oddball stuff.

Why don't you give us all the details about the car and then we can suggest where to advertise. Better yet, post the text of one of your ads and we can proof read it for you.

Because that's skirting the rules and I'm trying to NOT become part of a larger porch addition.
BUT... it would look suprisingly like this ad : http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/3372975749.html
Just sayin'.
I dunno... I listed my F250 diesel for trade as a mobile tool storage shed. It clearly is above the 2k limit three times over.

eBay car ads aren't as ridiculous as they used to be. Listing the car is free, and you pay $125 once it successfully sells. That might sound like a lot but they used to have a huge listing fee - at least this way you only pay something if it sells. And often times your sales price can be more than $125 more compared to other venues.

Success? I went to show my wife the car(i.e. how Dad should splurge on a something that goes like a 'raped ape') but your CL ad has been 'deleted.' Hope you found a happy buyer who will put all that torque to good use.
