In doing some reading, the lack of a pritchel hole dates this anvil to before 1830.

In this case, pretty much as far from the truth as can be. In fact this one might be the worst looking Peter Wright I've ever seen. To make that more than a 143 pound door stop, you'd need to do a bunch stick welding to build up the busted off edges and fouled up face, then re-temper it. Better off finding a good one to start with.
