Looking for the Aluminum  material that they use for making pie tins , serving dishes etc , alloy and thickness ?

For other Aluminum sheets 1100 is considered soft alloy ,  but I do not know what the disposable pie tins use ,

And if anyone has used it ,  can it be welded with a jewelers torch ?

Thanks for your help

ADDED:  or is this something that is at Home Depot that I never found there ?

I don't know which alloy is used for disposable pie tins, but McMaster Carr has sheets and rolls of 1100 in thickness from 0.0005" and up, as well as "easy to weld" 5052 in sheets and rolls 0.002" thick.

Not sure if this will work for you are not but I have used it on various car projects and it's thin.

I have seen someone TIG their signature on a piece of Reynolds Wrap after cutting a Coke can in half and welding it back together watertight, so anything can be welded if you have the skill.  (Man I miss the forum on theoldone.com!)
