having a hard time finding any used spring in my size locally.

4" to 5" length.  is guess is kinda short.

I'm just looking for bargain springs. Doesn't have to be any brand name.
i'm currently using the springs from one of those cheap 50$ ebay coilover spring kits.

I just need more springrate and shorter length.

Cut a coil. It results in a stiffer shorter spring.

speedway discount section typically has a few choices.  Otherwise if cheap is relative, speedway is probably the cheapest youll find new.  Checking ebay every few days can get you cheap used ones if you willing to wait for the ones you need.  Next option, hitting up the local autox and asking around for someone with your rate/lenght laying around in their parts bin.

Cheap springs are often inconsistent. Eibach, Hyperco or Sprint is what you want to look at.

Speedway is good, I use them and summit racing and generally see between 40-80 dollars a 2.5" coilover spring for prices. both are stupid fast on shipping.

I can only cut 1cm off before it no longer seats properly.

obviously this is a budget build. so shelling out over 100$ per spring is out of the question.
i really don't need such perfect precision in a spring anyways.  the cheapo ebay coils I have actually feel really nice.
I just know i'll need more springrate when my track tires get on there.

looks like great prices.

question though.   whats the springrating on these?  example is the 5" x 2.5"id springs.  they have two options 25 and 75    is that the springrate??? i'm confused.   the 25 one is listed as FW5x2.5x25

Eibach coilover springs are normally in the 70 to $85 per spring range from reputable licensed distributors
