thank you! you just made life much easier
44dwarf, thanks for those links from me, too!
Bolt Depot is my go to for stainless metric hardware. I HATE rusty bolts on a motorcycle and dislike shiny chrome, stainless ticks both these boxes. I'll probably rework the Berzerkeley with a fair amount of stainless, too.
Welcome. Metric screw and tool was about 30 miles from where i grow up and all the bike shops got stuff from them too.
I'm definitely going to be using those links to buy some longer screws to hold the gear selector handle for the datsun.
44dwarf I did not know you were local. Thanks for the links. Great to know local suppliers for that stuff.

Call me a cynic, but I wouldn't trust Ace Hardware bolts to hold on a flywheel if they were the last place on earth.
No way.
I've got an incredible local resource called Albany Nut and Bolt. Old time place that knows nuts and bolts better than anyone. Probably not much of an online presence. I know that is not a great help- sorry.
same here ... I have to chose from .. Bolts and Nuts of Asheville and Asheville Bolt and Screw ... one of them is open on Sat ... guess which one gets most of my business
