I've tried most of the "regular" Spec Miata parts shops I know, and have been browsing M.net, SCCAForums, etc.
Also have a WTB for Miata parts up in here.
I need a vinyl wheel + airbag in decent shape to swap out for my leather one to be legal for SCCA ES (R-Package conversion), and this is the last part I don't have that I can't get direct from Mazdaspeed. Any leads? Ideas for places to look?
Post a pic of what you want an I will see if I have it in the Miata parts pile.
Do they really check for that?!
There is a guy who regularly parts Miatas on the Raleigh, NC craigslist. He also posts here occasionally.
Here's a link to one of his listings:

Not too far from you in VA.
MrJoshua: Can't find a picture, but it's the stock NA wheel, vinyl-wrapped, not leather.
Does it have to have an airbag? I've got several Canadian wheels w/o air bags that are vinyl.
I will take a pic of what I have this afternoon.
I've got an airbag in 65203...but I don't think they're really shippable, are they?
I have one. Out of '94 base package. I have no idea what they go for, but I would sell it to you no prob.
ManBearSTIG: Where are you located?
Shoot me an email ryandavies@gmail.com
If ManBearSTIG falls through, I'd consider a swap. I'll be at VIR in July for the UTCC.
We sell 'em through FM Salvage when we have 'em, price varies per condition. But we don't have any right now.
Keith: Have any 12mm R-Package rear sways? Those seem to be unobtanium too, only the damned NB bars are around (pretty sure they're different P/Ns, so not legal for what I want to use it for).
Sorry, we haven't had an R package come through salvage. The only 12mm rear bars we have are the NB ones. You can check our inventory online: http://www.flyinmiata.com/salvage
I have to say, foolishness like having to change out your high-performance leather steering wheel for the obviously much slower vinyl version is why I don't pay any attention to SCCA class rules
SCCA lost me a long time ago.
