I have been looking around for cheap vinyl material to wrap a challenge car with. I need about 20 yards of 60" wide material. I'd love to find something for under $200 ... Is that possible? Color/quality is not important.
I wish I knew how to paint. I think vinyl will be easier though.
Thanks.

Wrapping will not be easier, to do a good job on a wrap is a LOT of effort. Look into doing a foam roller paint job if you want to keep it cheap and simple.
Agree...my experience with only partial vinyl on cars has been a major pain in the ass and I've yet to have a partial wrap or big sticker come out perfect. I find masking and painting to be much easier (and generally less expensive), personally. Rattle-can can look surprisingly good if you use good nozzles. I buy packs of them from a graffiti supplies place online, of all places :)

This is what I did on my 924:
From this:

To this:

To finally this:

Prep took the longest, but I was able to lay a coat before I left for work in the morning and another after dinner so a week or so later I had enough paint on it to start thinking about color sanding and polishing.
My problem is that I cant paint for E36 M3. I tried it twice and the results were not good at all. On the other hand, I did apply tint to a few cars without a hitch. Since this car is quite flat, I think I can pull it off.
I also dont have a good place to paint at.

Rusto fill caps for the win! Also- the quality of paint- go ahead and spring for that Montana Gold. It's worth the extra 3 bucks a can.
