I can't seem to find any for a particular 2011 mx5. I can find only poly. Of note, no door bushings. They can be found everywhere.

Do they need to be delrin and not hard poly? 75D polyurethane has the same hardness/stiffness/durometer as delrin.

Would prefer it. My ax class won't allow metal bushings. I'm not totally doing delrin for the deflection, I'm doing it to prevent binding. And delrin checks all the boxes without having to lube, or worry about binding.
Small machine shops, or hobbyist with a lathe...
I found a small shop local to me to do some parts for my racecar. You would need to get measurements to them though.
You might start by asking your local autox group if anyone has a lathe.
There's a GRM how to article in the archives on making your own bushings. I'll return with the link.
Now that is interesting. I don't have a dad with a lathe though. I wonder if FM would want to do these for us hardcore Miata fans? Kinda surprised no one makes these for this year. The FM email I get every month said this month about them using their fancy 3D printers for things people have created. I wonder if this would be one of those "things"?
In reply to Junghole :
3D printing a bushing sounds like a bad idea. A mold for polyurethane bushings would work, but not just plastic bushings.
Whereabouts are you?
Ask around and find someone local with a lathe. They will be incredibly happy that you did if for no other reason it will allow them to justify to their significant other the reason that they have the lathe, continuing to keep it, and how so many others wish that they had a lathe.
Also be sure to ask their beverage of choice.
I dont know NC's very well, but it looks like there is some crossover with RX8's in the control arm department... you might figure that out and shop for RX8 stuff. For instance.

In reply to Apexcarver :
There is, and I completely spaced that they share a lot. Including, apparently, the control arm bushings sizes. I see there are delrin options for the rx8.
Any machine shop can make these and Delrin is easy to mill.
With Tom's help, I made my own for the Elva with our Smithy machine
Another thought along these lines. What would happen if you left everything stock on a sports car, let's just say an e36m3, and only replaced all the bushings with delrin. Would the ride quality dip, even though oem springs and shocks are in place? Seems like everyone does the opposite of this, starting with springs and shocks and then going to stiff bushings. What if the opposite was done? Anyone tried this?

That mandrel is one of those rubber drum sander centers. I have a set of five, and luckily one was the right diameter.
In reply to Junghole :
In my last NB I switched out all the 110K mile OEM bushings for a set of IL Motorsport rubber ones. They were advertised as being 20% stiffer and it was pretty noticeable in the ride. It got harsher, and not in a way that I liked. Springs and shocks were stock. The handling was sharper, but that's the trade off. That's on Michigan roads, so your experience may vary.

In reply to L5wolvesf :
Yes....so a limited choice for the inside diameter. I think I could turn one by clamping it on a bolt, but I never had to try that.
