We have had an 06 Civic Si since the day they rolled on to the showroom floors. I would like to upgrade the suspension, brakes and do some non-ricer work to it. Its going to be my DD since I now have a much longer commute. (Wife gets a SUV now) I would like to see some light track duty and do some auto-x again. Where would you start on this car? My wife has already put a CF hood, projector lights, motegi wheels and some decent rubber on the car. (She was a ricer before we met! )
I'd start with the suspension, nice set of springs and struts. I couldn't stand the way they handled off the floor.
Breathing mods do wake these up nicely, though.

Keep the wheels, sell the hood and lights to fund the suspension work HalfTrac mentioned. That'll be enough to get you in trouble...

I would have to find stock replacements for the hood/lights. She was backed into by a truck a couple years ago. I dont like those parts, but unless I could reclaim enough to get stock items and some cash... I wonder if some ricer would trade plus cash? What about swaybars, strut bars, and rear braces? Good investment too?
