I just put new pads, rotors, and braided lines on my car(c4 corvette) and have no leaks and vacuum but crap for brakes do I need to add a vacuum canister??I've did the obvious like bleeding them, checking for leaks, breaking the pads in to the rotors but I still have to mash the peddle pretty hard to get it to stop.

If I'm not mistaken a line that needs bleeding will also have a springy effect. Maybe that will eliminate that for sure. You may have bled a lot, but there could still be a bubble of air in there. That's the only thing I can think of.

Are you getting good vacuum to the booster?

Not sure about the amount of vacuum Im getting.I keep thinking I need to add a canister but the suction on the line is good.I'm going to rebleed them today but I did it with a flush unit so I know theres no air in there.

Did you have issues before the brakes were done?

One way to check the booster. Engine off, pump brake pedal to exhaust vacuum. Hold foot on brake pedal Start engine. Pedal should drop slightly.
