Do you think that they will depriciate further from the values today. I just can't see them ever reaching Europa pricing but if they do that would be amazing.

I can't speak for the US market, but I can tell you that they are appreciating in Canada. Our Elises are unique to Canada, and we are not allowed to import cars from the US to license on the road. Of course, we only have to wait 15 years before that's a moot point.
I sold mine for what I paid, two years and 12000 kms later.
