I think I've decided to switch gears, and make my Europa rotary powered.
Looks like I can put my hands on all the components required, now I'd like a teammate interested in building a $20XX Challenge car who is good with rotaries.
Any one wanna slightly demented teammate?
I'm in south GA. We could work together if you are near, or you could work on the engine while I work on the rest, then drop in your handiwork.
Of course, seat time at the Challenge is part of the compensation package!
That would be a lot of fun! Too bad I'm in the New England area.. :(

Bet I could figure out how to get it to you.
You can do it yourself!
I built mine for my FD using the Rotary Aviation video by Bruce Turrentine. I watched it several times, then watched each step as I did it for real, took my time, used good parts, and my car runs great.
It's pretty much a matter of cleaning everything thoroughly, measuring everything carefully, replacing parts that aren't in spec., and reassembling.
In reply to JamesMcD:
But, can you do it in a $20XX budget? Last time I looked a basic rebuild kit was half of that or thereabouts.

Of course I can do it myself. I could also build a small Mars landing rover, but it might not be worth the effort.
I'd like a teammate who knows more than me. I'm tired of plodding through learning curves and YouTube videos.
I wish I could help. Building a challenge car with you would be a true privilege. Such a shame that my skills with rotaries are lacking.

What you lack in rotary experience, you more than make up for in Internet prowess!
I wouldn't mind a teammate with a commitment to learning something new.
