I will be there all day Friday. In my experience meeting at the show is difficult as I never see the guys I plan to see unless they are in a booth. Should we plan a lunch or dinner meet up on Friday?
Dragweekers are meeting Friday night I think

I’m down, preferably not somewhere busy and expensive. Most of downtown is busy and expensive though, i have friends who have had reservations at st elmos for months. I don’t eat steak and a $8 dinner with soup and salad impresses me more than $50 pork chops that are almost as good as the ones i make at home.
FYI grm if you feel like getting nuts in the booth next year I can drag the Wartburg out. Chances are it’ll probably be done by then.

I respect and agree, so downtown lunch is out.
I might be able to do a Thrusday evening away from the show. I live near Plainfield which makes things simpler, at least for me

We’re staying in plainfield so
any suggestions and who wants in? Preferably not too late because this is one of our very few nights without the kids around a year so i want to get back to the hotel before i’m tired
Thursday evening schedule looks good, no family duties that need attending.
How about I open up my shop as a gathering point? I have heat with plenty of space to stand around and shoot the E36 M3, most of a Miller Lite quarter in the keezer, and a fire pit if weather allows.
And more vehicular shaped projects than a GRMer could shake a stick at, to keep folks entertained
Oh well my tubes are 1.75”
i’ll have to dig through my stuff and see if I have any square body s10 bits left
I can't make it to the show, but can I invite myself to the Gumby Garage? I haven't gotten to see it yet.

Me, too? Not sure about PRI yet, but would enjoy a good meet-up.
Most definitely! All are welcome, Thursday evening, GRM/PRI open shop
Text three 1 seven four one 7 two 77 eight for the address.
Bringing this back from page2 for an early week lunchtime bump.
Looks like most in this thread are gonna be in town for Thursday. Who all is gonna try to stop by the shop?
So I finally bothered to look at a calendar and realized that Thursday is my Anniversary (momentary panic). For some reason, MrsSTM thinks we should spend the evening together, but doesn't seem interested in hanging out in a garage with car nerds. Seems like my trip to the Gumby Garage will have to wait for another day. Sorry to miss the hangs.
We’re leaving Cleveland in a couple hours. Will probably skip the show today because I’m trying to heal some back issues with rest and just attend Friday.
Just a reminder that you can stop by our booth at PRI--number 3133--and meet a bunch of GRM staffers :)
Margie
There is no doubt I will stop at the GRM booth tomorrow! The question is, are there any staffers brave enough to stop by my shop tonight?
In reply to gumby :
Are you expecting a big crowd tonight? I'm trying to arrange it to be there tonight.
I couldn't arrange to take Friday off work, so I'll probably only end up at the show on Saturday.
In reply to Indy-Guy :
We should be there aboot 6:30ish 71 miles from plainfield having dinner right now.
You'll need to log in to post.
