That's a heavy engine with a lot of flaws to bother swapping in to something that will take more effort than just bolting it in.

A similar view is exactly what prevented me from buying an Audi S4 in the twin-turbo 6 cylinder version. I was this close to making a deal, and them I opened the hood.

Nothing to add, but I saw my first 3000GT-VR4 yesterday. I passed me on the highway and at some point I got stuck behind it on the freeway. It seemed like it had an intercooler and piping on it big enough for a semi.... sounded scary.

I dont like the DOHC twin turbo engine bay so i bought a SOHC and a single turbo for it.

Some assembly required.
