Very nice ride you've built. The exhaust note is perfect, too. Add my vote to seeing a feature on it in the magazine.

That's a pretty high bar. Should make for a pretty exclusive group of people.

I have a fairly well prepped Neon IT2 car (see avatar) which currently holds the IT2 record at 1:30 flat. On any given day, I can run 1:32's. I was running 1:36's in the dead stock Chumptegra. Old Kumho 711's lasted 14 hours, PBR metalmasters lasted 13 hours 50 minutes, although with 4 guys running as hard as I did, neither would have made the weekend. Needs more fuel tank to make 7 hours on 3 stops, too.

Would a plus 5% larger fuel cell do the trick? Honestly, I'm quite envious of your power, but extra fuel stops ruins that...

Dave, I'm flattered, but don't you think you should have asked me before telling the world that you're building me into your next lemons car?

I would try to fit 60 liters in. Deadnuts empty, as in, I ran out of gas pulling into the Shell station, it took 47 liters. Going balls out, it would start burbling on corners after pulling about 42 liters.

It was gonna be a surprise.

Sorry, I don't know the rules for lemons, but chump only allows +5% on their fuel cells...

oops sorry for forgetting to credit you Kevin! You know I love your pictures!
By the way, nice cars. Also, so there's no confusion, my email is david at grassrootsmotorsports.com. I'm always looking for submissions for Your Cars, Stuck on You, Internet Hot Rod of the Month, etc. Send them my way. Our photo guidelines (look at the bottom of this screen for the link) should help, too.
I love that metallic teal blue on the '85 aw11's. Especially with black/dark wheels.
Lotta nice cars posted here already. I want more info on the open wheeler too. The LSx equipped Covair with 50+ internets votes wouldn't exactly be an unpopular choice. Somebody should bring that to the Mitty next year so I can drool on it (I'll try to keep the drips on the grass).
Thanks guys
The Mr2 has kinda been a long term project that i have been working on and off for the past 3 years but its finally at that stage where I'm trying to drive it around as much as possible to work out all the kinks with the turbo kit and megasquirt lol
