Not quite 200,000 yet, but getting close with the Town Car. Might be why it burns so much oil.
03' Nissan Sentra SER Spec V, 216k miles. I just bought this, and from best guess it's not the original engine. It's a dedicated Rallycross car, so it won't be racking many miles up anyway.
All the vans are gone at this point.
The Colorado trucks that replaced them are all north of 200k. One around 250k the other around 280k. One has had a transmission replaced and valve cover gaskets replaced, the other is pretty much as built other than normal wear items.
My wife is driving a Suburban that is within 500 miles of 300k. We will probably drive it into the dirt. No known repairs, but who knows. We bought it at 250k+.
My work truck will hit 200k within the next couple of months. It hasn't been a very good truck so far. I just rebuilt the transmission, and it had a BCM replaced a few months back.
Everything else is in the 150k range.
230k miles on my Forester. The outside is a little rough but the inside is nice and it still runs well. I'm planning on driving it until it's financially irresponsible to keep it running.
2006 SAAB 9-3 vert - 257,000. My dad bought it with 30K miles on it and gave it to my oldest son last summer.
I don’t tend to hold onto my daily drivers for very long as I am always on the look out for something “different” or “interesting to me at this moment”.
00 Legacy GT Wagon: bought at ~220k, sold at ~245k.
02 Impreza Wagon: Bought at ~190k, sold at ~225k.
05 Legacy GT Wagon: Bought at ~195k, sold at ~210k
In reply to midniteson :
My 1997 Chevy 1/2 t pu 371,000 miles before rust made it unsafe. Ran right up to the the time they hauled it away. Cost me less than $1000 intepairs to get it there.
MGTD about 211,000 based on mileage written on the back of speedometer. Rebuilt 3 times by me. Currently bored .120 over and time for another rebore
I had a 2005 Acura TL with a 6 speed manual that had 215 wharf I sold it. It was still on its original clutch. 2 timing belts and a few sets of brakes.
i also have 2003 BMW X5 with a manual trans 200k. Has had 2 clutch’s put in it. 1 my fault for letting my 15 yo go out to move it with trailer so I could have a beer and he burned it out trying to get to move in 3rd gear. Many door handle mechanisms and window regulators. But always gets you where your going for the last 10 years.
Sold the 1984 Olds Delta 88 (307/200R4) at 381,000 miles. It had rings at ~250,000, cylinders still within tolerance. Also the water pump was replaced.
2002 Chevy Avalanche is at 245,00 and still going strong. Lots of repairs, unfortunately. Rust, transmission, water pump, fuel pump, evap system, knock sensors.
Pic from a couple years ago. Mmmm, symmetry.
2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. 203K and change. I have only every done tires, and oil changes. She is starting to makes some noises in the front suspension so probably need to give that a look soon. Still drives like a dream.
2003 Ody we bought new, was my wife’s daily until 2014:
The 2010 Ody we bought in 2014 is currently the lowest-mileage piece in our fleet at 170k.
2007 E60 525xi that I bought at 136k in 2015 is currently the highest-mileage and continues to soldier on:
I’m probably 3 months away from 200k in my 2001 Sonoma 4.3/5MT ZQ8.
I wish I still had the Protege that I mentioned in my original response to this post 7 years ago.
The only 200k+ vehicle we have right now is my '94 Land Cruiser project @ 202k. Its a nearly rust-free FZJ80 that I've been tinkering with and recently got back on the road after some neglect and a light front end hit. Since I've had it, I've replaced the rear rotors, pads, right rear caliper, front door handles, front door vapor barriers, various bulbs, and probably some other E36 M3 I've forgotten. I hoped I'd like working on and driving it, but I don't really 'get it' so far. We'll see how I feel after new tires and a few other repairs.
It currently looks like this:
If any of you have parts for one of these kicking around or know someone who does, drop me a line. I need exhaust downpipes, a hood, tires, and a front bumper.
Wife's '01 BMW 330ci convertible has 238k and the clutch just started slipping last week. That said, it does burn oil at a rate slightly higher than BMW's "1 quart per 700 miles" standard, but still goes like stink and has never set a CEL except when the little flutter valve in the intake manifold broke.
It's doing better than my '06 Dakota. It has 185k and I had to have the heads rebuilt this summer because "powdered metal valve seats"

Honda clutches man... Guy I know drove a 2008 Civic. He bought it with 180 and sold it with 325 still on the original clutch.
They guy I sold it lost it in less the 3000 miles. I think it was him but I paid 1/2. I have a 2013 Acura TL awd with a 6 speed manual has 100k . I think it is a highly underrated car.
