Another new car review with video has been posted. It's not the first time we tested this car, but this time we had more fun with it.

I was wondering what fried dough had to do with Grassroots Motoring?
And YES, I really was hungry for doughnuts........
I too thought there was one of those free donut coupons. Now I have slobber all over the keyboard. Shame on you!
after watching that entire video, the only thing that sticks in my head is the freaking size of that steering wheel. I'm surprised one can even turn it fast enough to DO donuts in it.....
BTDT and it's fun! Well not doing donuts till I puked, but playing like that.
It's a shame that you can't have that feel in a car you'd be happy driving all the time. I had the original and it was a blast, but now I'd only want the car a small portion of my time. I wonder if there's a timeshare program for the car?

I really like Hendrix but I so wanted the Dukes of hazard music with the classic horn of the general lee.
Great stuff!!!!
By the way what camera do you shoot that with. At full screen (I am talking on a 32inch LCD) it is darn good.
I shoot with a Canon HF S100 at 1920 x 1080, and a Canon T2i. The T2i shoots 1920 x 1080 at 24 or 30fps, but I usually shoot at 1280 x 720 since it'll do 60fps at that res and it looks awesome. I export all the videos in 720p HD, so they should look pretty decent on all but the most monstrous screens.
That T2i is seriously one of the nicest cameras I've ever had. You can't touch the performance for the money. Not even close.

We're saving the Waylon Jennings until we try a proper SRT8 Charger. The theme from "Vanishing Point" is too esoteric.

We're adding to our array of HD-capable equipment; I just bought a nice budget (I'm amazed at what $200 will buy these days.) camcorder for more video work, and scored a 1080p Contour HD camera earlier this year for in-car stuff.
Glad you guys are liking the videos. There's more fun to come this year...UTCC is only a few weeks away.

There's also rights issues. Technically you could make an argument that we're using these for commercial purposes, so we need to be at least somewhat careful about rights. Most of the music in the videos is either done by me, my buddy Donovan, or is sourced from rights-free collections. We'll probably not be using any Metallica. I hear they're pretty persnickity when it comes to copyright issues.

Always crack me up.
Great job with the magazine and videos and nice job not making it quite entertaining.
