Victoria's Secret. That's the fun thing about living in student apartments, you keep getting other people's mail that used to live there. We're not complaining.

You'll hate this. We got it for less than $600 on Ebay with the suspension work and a re-worked transmission
Schmidlap wrote: Have you done any weight reduction on the Mark VIII? I've always wondered how light you could get one. Since it's a Lincoln, I assume there's a tonne of noise deadener, the seats are probably power everything and on the heavy side, etc. Bob
Not yet. The front seats were pulled when we got it and it has a Kirkey. Its doomed to Lemons in June so the glass probably won't make it. We are gonna yank and the AC and heating stuff as well as the sound deadener. Right now we are waiting on room in our shop, which will come as soon as Aussiemg get's one of the Preludes out of the way.
Make no mistake, she is a complete utter pig, Autocross Vid
Thats one of the co-owners who took her to and Auto-X 6 hours after we got her back to OK. Thats was a 22 hour ordeal itself.
17 degrees AGAIN! 7 degree wind chill. Tree company came by this morning, hoping to clear to make room for a new barn. Lost section of roof on the big barn in Monday's storm. Some damage on the house. I am sick of this winter!!! But, I am still jacked for October. Hopefully once everything is covered with tarps, I can finish the first header today. Man is it cold. Morning break is over, back for the freezer.
It's Sunday night. It's still freezing. I am still sick of this winter. But we picked up our next LSR and potential $2011 car. And, the headers for the $2010 challenge car are done!!!.
Editted for Josh's sake!
you make me sick Andy. You know that? Need to pick your brain about header design for a non challenge car anyway. Googling 180 degree headers didn't get me anything on design and theory, just a bunch of forum posts directing back to your Zcar challenger and how they would like to do that to their car with alot of others saying "it's not worth it/impossible to do on a budget. BAH I say BAH!
I am (hopefully) going to get the $2010 challenge car next Saturday. I am aiming for 180-200hp at the wheels and just below 1000lbs with driver. I will be running in the exhibition class. This car is going to be fun.
If half the planned projects for this year show up, it's gonna be a hell of a year. Man I'll juiced for October to get here!
OK, so who's targeting what power/ weight ratios?
I'm looking at 1600 lbs with 300 hp at the flywheel. I have no idea how I'll get that power to the wheels!
Actually I know how to get it to the wheels. I'm not sure how to get it to the pavement!
^ 2065-2165lbs depending on who is driving at the time and 325-360hp before the nitrous. Now a clutch that will hold that and getting it to hook up are going to be our issues

Thanks again buddy I cant wait to see what you do with it

Have you been to the challenge before? Dig up some of the old challenge coverage articles and use that list of cars as a starting point. If it's your first year, have fun, get the feel for it, or do like the HOWDY guys did and friggin go for broke! if you don't mind learning to do body work start with a car that's not so pretty. Good luck with it, and most of all have a blast!
