Why are the forums down every other day?

I log on at weird time, or just generally during the day, or am on the boards and try to post and the server crashes or whatever happens.

Just as an aside, as a side effect of all this work on the server issues, the site is roughly 300% faster now... at least it is when it's not down.

I did notice the speed increase over the last few days, but I was scared to mention it for fear of a crash.

I also want to say we appreciate all the work y'all do to keep this bunch of crazy people in touch with each other.

Simple answer. JG recently discovered Japanese tentacle movies. He's now using every computer in the office to run Bit Torrent after hours making the servers cry.

speed increase, meaning you guys switched from dial up to dsl? im kidding...
