At the autocross today, a gentlemen that I hold in high regard was in my class in a Civic Type R. I assumed that he'd crush me, this is a guy with some national wins and who has given me pointers many times over the years. By some miracle, I was able to sneak past him and land in third place in class, bumping him to 4th. Exiting the course, he gave me a smile and a big thumbs up. A class act all the way.
Well done. It's fun when you pull out a great result.
Yup, rock on. At the end of the day, it is kind of a team sport.
I logged in just to give this a thumbs up
This is great, and I'm lucky to say that it's very typical for the local clubs. "Come for the cars, stay for the people."
It's not just a cliché.
Amen. That's the difference between drag racers, circle track and sports cars.
People are happy for your success in sports car racing even if it's a mid pack finish. I'm happy to share help or ideas with competitors and they do the same for me.
